The Governing Council:
a) The management of the Association shall vest on the Governing Council consisting of 34 members:
- Office bearers (16)
- Governing Council Members (18)
- Advisory Committee (14) (Permanent invitees in the Governing Council)
- Branch President or its authorized/nominated representative from each branch. (One from each Branch)
b) The Officer Bearers (16) shall be as follows:
- President (1)
- Executive Vice President (2)
- Vice Presidents (3)
- Chief Coordinator (1)
- Secretary General (1)
- Secretaries (6)
- Coordinator (1)
- Treasurer (1)
c) Governing Council Members (18). Select Governing Council members may be given specific role and designation as may be found suitable by the Governing Council.
d) Note – 1: All the Past Presidents are co-opted members of the Governing Council.
e) Note – 2: The minimum qualification to contest for the above said elected positions is that the member shall regularly attend the Monthly Meetings.
f) Note – 3: No member should be continuously elected as an office bearer for the same post consecutively for more than 2-terms.
g) Note – 4: The Governing Council may recommend to the General Body the creation of additional posts as well as abolish any post as and when it feels necessary
Advisory Body shall be as follows:
- All Past Presidents
- Branch representative (one from each branch)
- Members (10) as nominated by the President in consultation with the Office Bearers.
Note – 2: The Advisory Committee Members shall be permanent invitees of the Governing Council. The Advisory Committee members apart from giving valuable advice will strive to bring consensus in the Governing Council. However they shall not exercise any vote. Similarly the branch president/representative shall not exercise any vote. e) The office-bearers of the Governing Council are responsible to carry on the day today administration and activities of the Association, which the General Body entrust to them.
f) The Governing Council will be elected by the members in their first General Body Meeting and the Body so elected shall hold office for a period of two years continuously.
g) The Elections for New Body will be held on or before 31st March at the end of every 2-year term. The total body will hand over the charge to the incoming new body subsequently on 01st April.
h) Members of the Association, other than those from Ranga Reddy and Hyderabad Districts, shall have the right to nominate one amongst them from each district to attend the meetings of the Governing Council for the purpose of effective dissemination of information and communication. Such members, however, shall not have the right to vote at the meeting.
i) If any vacancy occurs among the office bearers or in the Governing Council of the Association due to any reason including disqualification, the Governing Council shall have the right to co-opt members to fill such casual vacancy (ies) and such member(s) shall continue in office till the next Annual General Body Meeting. The Governing Council may also co-opt Governing Council members from among the eligible members.
j) Resolved to replace a Committee member, who absents himself continuously for three meetings of ‘TREDA’ and to nominate / co-opt a willing and active member, in his place.
